There are still about 50 seats available for this Fridays performance by Roger McGuinn at 8:00PM in the Events Gallery at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. A great opportunity to see a rock legend, McGuinn should feel right at home performing in the same building as the Museum at Bethel Woods as he helped shape events and times at its core.
McGuinn, a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of fame along with Gene Clark and David Crosby with whom he formed the Byrds in 1964 and has since had a solid solo and collaborative career was at the forefront of late 60′s music scene with his unique sound and interpretations of folk classics . Nominated four times for Grammy awards McGuinn has an extensive catalogue as well as having played with many notable musicians over the years including Bob Dylan and Tom Petty.
Tickets are available through TicketMaster or the BWCA box office for $48.
Tickets also went on sale last week for ProgRock veterans Yes and Styx and tickets for 311 and Sublime with Rome go on sale this week.
With most of the summer schedule set I have been told there are still 3 or 4 more shows yet to be announced including something special that I couldn’t get my source to elaborate on. Initially I was told it would be announced last week but was pulled back until a later date.
